BioGuard Spot Kill Algaecide
BioGuard Spot Kill eliminates algae quickly and easily. It is highly soluble which makes it compatible for most pool surfaces. This product is approved for use in pools sanitized with chlorine and bromine (and should not be used in Soft Swim pools). The granular formula allows for direct application into the pool. This product is near pH neutral and will not upset the water balance. Spot Kill kills green or black algae. BioGuard Spot Kill Algaecide kills algae and will rid your pool of unsightly black algae spots. Spot Kill is ideal for use in vinyl lined, fiberglass, or colored plaster surface pools.
Prevent algae before it becomes an issue. The addition of algicide is needed for proper pool maintenance. Sanitizers or shock/oxidizers alone may not keep algae at bay and this step is needed to keep your pool completely clear of any growth. This is the third part of the BioGuard 3-Step Pool Care System. Do all algicides kill algae? Not all algicides are alike, only algicides that have been approved by the EPA for killing algae actually perform. All BioGuard products have been thoroughly reviewed and proven effective. Various kinds of algae may require different treatments to ensure they are eliminated.

Dosing & Directions
- Heavy Algae Dosing: 2 lbs per 10,000 gallons
- Light Algae Dosing: 1 lb per 10,000 gallons
- Brush all algae from pool surfaces before treatment
- Apply dose to deep end of pool when not in use
- Ensure pump and filter are operational
- Use brush to disperse granules that settle on bottom of pool
- Brush any additional algae from pool surfaces
- Repeat dose if algae still present
- To restore filter performance, chemically clean filter media
