Roasted Cranberry Sauce with Red Wine & Cinnamon

Roasted Cranberry Sauce with Red Wine and Cinnamon is your perfect turkey counterpart. Sugar, cinnamon and a little red wine make this sour sauce enticingly sweet.

Ingredients

1 cup red wine
2 cinnamon sticks
1 cup dried cranberries (about 6 oz)
1 (12 oz) bag fresh cranberries
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup sugar

Preparation

When ready to cook, set temperature to 375˚F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Place all ingredients in a cast iron sauce pan or baking dish.

Place on Traeger and cook for 1 hour stirring every 10 minutes or until cranberry’s start to soften and juices start to thicken.

Remove from grill, allow to cool to room temperature. Remove cinnamon sticks and serve. Enjoy!

*Cook times will vary depending on set and ambient temperatures.
