Zombie Cocktail Recipe
Don’t be fooled by the name! Smoked pineapple, orange juice, and two types of rum make this Zombie Cocktail recipe one lively cocktail!
Ingredients
Smoked Orange and Pineapple Juice
Fresh squeezed orange juice
Pineapple juice
2 Ounce light rum
2 Ounce dark rum
2 Ounce lime juice
1 Ounce Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup
6 Ounce smoked orange and pineapple juice
2 grilled orange peel, for garnish
2 grilled pineapple chunks, for garnish
When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 180°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
Smoked Orange and Pineapple Juice: Pour equal parts fresh squeezed orange juice and pineapple juice into a shallow sheet pan and smoke for 45 minutes. Remove and let cool. Measure out 3 ounces of juice and reserve any remaining juice in the refrigerator for future use.
Add dark and light rums, 3 ounces smoked orange and pineapple juice, lime juice and Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup to a mixing glass.
Add ice, shake and strain over clean ice into a Tiki glass.
Garnish with a grilled orange peel and grilled pineapple. Enjoy!
