Did you know a swimming pool can help you get on a healthier, happier path in the New Year? (more…)
The best answer to that depends on a few things. So, should you buy a swimming pool now? Let’s uncover why in this article.
First, the “now” is the end of September, the early part of October. Most people aren’t really thinking about swimming as they look toward pumpkin spice, chili, and all things fall.
However, fall and winter, or the off-season, is often a great time to buy a swimming pool. Whether you’re looking for an inground pool or an above ground pool, you may find this is the best time of year.
Let’s look at a few things to think about as you consider whether or not to buy today.
In the spring and summer, everyone wants a pool. During this time of year, demand is often lower, so we can generally install your pool quicker.
Yes, pool companies usually run a sale on above ground pools and sometimes even inground pools during the fall. It’s always a good idea to ask.
We always tell our customers that if they’re ready to buy a pool, they should buy it then.
Don’t wait until next season and get bogged down with waitlists. Don’t wait for prices to go down (in case they don’t). Set a budget and work within in to buy that pool when you are ready!
Our advice: buy a swimming pool when you’re ready. Don’t assume prices will go down next season or that some amazing deal will come along. Instead, use your budget and your desired timeline to determine when to get started on your dream pool.
We can’t predict the cost of above ground pools or inground construction because those prices rise and fall with the markets. The trend has been upward for the last several years, so if you’re ready, it’s a good idea to take the “plunge.”
You’ll find that there really is no wrong time to buy a pool. You may find a “better” time, but you can’t go wrong buying when you’re ready.

We bet you’ve heard the saying, “You can’t have your cake and eat it too.”
That suggests that you can’t have everything you want. While that certainly is true for some things in life, it’s not true when it comes to swim spas and Endless Pools. (more…)
Thinking about an Endless Pool but have some questions? We’ve got the answers to your Endless Pool questions right here!
A. The compact size of the pools makes them easy to install. The Swim Spa requires very little installation – in most cases, you can be swimming the day it arrives.
A. The Endless Pool can be installed in virtually any ground-floor space in your home. Existing spaces like basements and garages are particularly suitable as the modular design of many of the pools allows them to fit through standard doorways.
In warmer climates, the pool is often installed in the backyard or on a patio or deck.

A. The ability to enjoy all the benefits of warm water year-round, at low cost, is one of the real advantages of an Endless Pool. The operating costs are about the same as for a hot tub. Costs can be controlled by utilizing the appropriate level of insulation, maintaining an ambient temperature in the pool room, keeping the pool covered when not in use, etc.
A. First, it really works! You really can swim or exercise in place against a current set at a speed you select for as long as you like.
No more trips to a membership pool or gym. Imagine the convenience of being able to swim in the privacy, comfort, and safety of your home anytime, day or night. Because the current holds you in place, you never reach the end of your Endless Pool. This unique swim-in-place feature allows the Endless Pool to be much smaller than a conventional pool while providing all of the benefits of a full-size pool. The Endless Pool is so carefree it even maintains your favorite water temperature automatically!
A. The current can go as slow or as fast as you want with a simple touch of a button.
At top speed, the equivalent swim is 1:08/100 yards or a mile without turns in 20 minutes. There’s also a Performance model with a top speed of 1:05/100 yards. The Elite model uses a 7.5 hp motor, two propellers, and a wider opening to create the fastest current available in any swimming machine. With a top speed of 0:51/100 yards, it is suitable for competitive swimmers and is used by many of the top collegiate programs and coaches in the world.
A. Yes, an Endless Pool is ideal for waist-deep aquatic exercise. Our optional deeper pools are suitable for non-swimming, vertically-oriented water workouts. We offer pools ranging in depth from 39″ to 6′ for deep-water running with a wet vest.
A. Personal lap pools are usually one lane wide, about 3′-6′ deep, and usually require a 50′ to 75′ length to satisfy most serious swimmers. The Endless Pool takes up much less space, is simpler to install (particularly indoors), easier to maintain, and more economical to run than a traditional lap pool.
A. It usually takes only a few seconds to learn how to swim “against the current.” Most first-time swimmers are thrilled to see how easy it is.
A. The depth of the water in our standard pool is 39″, which is the standard depth of a lap pool. This depth is sufficient for most swimming activities. We offer pools in many depths ranging from 39″ up to 6′, depending on the model you choose.
A., Unlike a traditional pool, an Endless Pool requires very little maintenance – on average a few minutes each week to test the water and add some regular household bleach. Also, the Endless Pool cartridge filter needs to be replaced every three to six months, depending upon pool use. The copper/silver cartridges used to kill bacteria and algae also need to be replaced every three to six months.
A. The Endless Pool uses a new copper/silver purifier to help sanitize the pool water. This system automatically adds ions to the water to inhibit bacteria growth and copper ions to kill algae.
You must still use a small amount of chlorine to oxidize the contaminants. In most installations, a cup or less of unscented household bleach after each swim is sufficient. This amount of chlorine is substantially less than the amount needed in a typical chlorinated pool.
A. The Endless Pool is filled with a garden hose. The water is changed every one to two years, depending upon use.
